Made it past a first inspection. Two months to go… or so..

Open frame inspection took place today. Some red marks did come up, so we’re going to have to get the builder to answer to some of them.

Once we’re “good” to consider the framing process cleared and behind us, drywall, painting and the other accessories can start going up and in.

Otherwise, the house is really coming along now. I expect we’ll be talking about setting up a closing date within the next 30-45 days. Obviously, we’re super stoked about that.

As seen on the home inspection report, a view from the front of the lot.

Stay tuned.

New year, so here’s some new photos of the new house

There is a lot of progress to show from the past month of construction.

Let’s get started…

As you drive into the community, its a great thing to see our house finally stacking up against the rest. Here’s a closer zoom…

Driving around, here’s the front of the home.

I took a lot of VIDEOS inside the property. Here’s a YouTube video below..

(Warning, its long and runs for like 20 minutes…)

In case you didn’t have time to watch (or just didn’t want to) — I didn’t take many other pics on this particular trip. Inside the house, the photos of random wood and trusses just really don’t do us any good. But rest assured, the house is really coming along strong and quick-like at this point.

Meanwhile.. We have an open-frame inspection next week. Electricity wiring and A/C duct work are already in, but the drywall can really start going up once we have and pass through the inspection.

Stick around. 2021’s gonna be fun.
