{"id":76,"date":"2017-10-19T09:35:25","date_gmt":"2017-10-19T13:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newhome.bydns.org\/?p=76"},"modified":"2017-10-19T09:35:25","modified_gmt":"2017-10-19T13:35:25","slug":"its-been-awhile-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newhome.bydns.org\/?p=76","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s been awhile&#8230;  (UPDATE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So it&#8217;s been a few months since this whole process began, but we&#8217;re finally starting to get some traction.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The old house still hasn&#8217;t closed, but we should be closing within the next few days.\u00a0 Likely by the 25th, next week.<\/li>\n<li>The permit for the new house has FINALLY been granted, so construction will finally start on the new lot.\u00a0 (It took a little longer than expected to get permits in place.)<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve seen more of the &#8220;model&#8221; home nearby in another town, as it comes to completion.\u00a0 This gives us a better idea of what to expect to see when ours is ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For now, it&#8217;s just patience, patience, patience as construction takes shape and eventually completes.\u00a0 We expect to have the new house sometime after February at this point.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll spend Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years holidays in our temporary home or celebrating with others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So it&#8217;s been a few months since this whole process began, but we&#8217;re finally starting to get some traction.
